The Lions were feline like they clawed themselves. The Lions became Lionesses in last nights man game. “I am not feline bad for the Lions” said the Highlanders. – Tane

A claw of the Lions didn’t hurt the Highlanders. What a win. Feline’s didn’t strike the Highlanders. The Lions pride is lost. The Lions roared but didn’t win. – Holley
Rippa Rugby
On Tuesday we sent a year 3 and 4 team to the Rippa Rugby Tournament in Balclutha. It was a cold, frosty morning when we arrived and never really warmed up throughout the day.
We played 6 games during the day. We won 2, lost 2 and tied 2. We scored 31 tries for the day and had 23 tries scored against us. It was an exciting day and heaps of fun and laughs.
A great big thank you to Brendon Potae and Amanda Watt who supported us down there for the day.
